How to use: Tea: Use 1-2 Teaspoons in a cup of boiling water, let it infuse for several minutes before sipping. Use as an infusion in oil to be rubbed on painful areas of the body. Can be used as a topical treatment for eczema in the bath.

Birch is a natural pain reliever as it contains salicylate, the compound found in aspirin. Salicylate, is known for its anti-inflammatory properties and can often assist with arthritis, headaches and generalised pain. It also has antibacterial properties and can assist with clearing out the urinary tract and help people suffering with bladder infections. Due to these antibacterial properties, birch is used as a topical treatment for eczema and other skin conditions.
