How to use: Burdock can be used in a tincture or extracts. It can also be made into a tea, 1 tablespoon of dried root in 2 cups of tea, stoop for 20 minutes. Drink up to 4 cups per day. This tea can also be used as a skin solution, apply to cool tea to skin with a wash cloth and rinse.

Burdock root is a diuretic, assisting the body to eliminate waste materials. It has been heralded by the ancients as a tonic for the liver, assisting to clean the blood. When taken internally, it promotes sweating, which aids the kidneys to eliminate harmful levels of uric acid. Burdock root also contains inulin, which can assist in controlling blood sugars. This herb is great for diabetics or people with insulin resistance.
