How to use: Calendula can be used in a variety of ways. It is base for many skin creams, lotions and balms. It can be infused with oil for skin conditions. A simple home-made solution for the skin is by putting a small handful of calendula flowers in hot goats milk and allowing it to cool, then applying. It can be used in tea to treat sore throats, or press the bruised flowers on cuts or scrapes.
Packaging: All of our herbs are packed in foil sealed, resealable bags with clear windows.
Calendula flowers are beautifully orange in colour. The flowers have anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties, which makes it an excellent natural skin remedy. It is an anti-inflammatory which makes it a great solution for all skin types from very dry to those suffering with acne. It works as a skin antiseptic and can assist with wound healing. It also relieves the itch of insect bites
