How to use: :California poppy can be used as a tincture, but can also be taken as a tea or in capsules. It is also commonly combined with other anxiety relieving herbs such as lavender, passionflower, St. John's wort, and/or valerian.
Packaging: All of our herbs are packed in foil sealed, resealable bags with clear windows.
California poppy is a much milder form of its cousin, and can be used for assisting with calming nerves or anxiety. It has also been used as a sleep aid that has no side effects in comparison to pharmaceutical sleeping pills. In higher doses, it has a sedating effect, and can be used for assisting in mood disorders. It is relaxing and calm as a tea, but does have a slightly bitter taste. When combining with other relaxing herbs, this is a great addition to any herbal medicine chest.
