How to use: Lemon Balm tea is soothing and tastes slightly minty with a hint of citrus. Simply steep 1 tsp per cup boiled water for 10 minutes. Combines well with complimentary herbs such as chamomile or lavender. Available as an essential oil for aromatherapy, here.

Lemon balm or Melissa as it is also known is a very therapeutic herb and is known for its calming effect on the body. It can assist during times of stress and works to relieve headaches and tension. It can induce sleepiness, and can act as an effective sleep aid, particularly when combined with Valerian. It is often used to assist with viral infections such as colds and flu due to its antiviral properties. It is very pleasant tasting and eases the stress of day away when sipped slowly at night.
